Dan Hill

Computer Systems Administrator

Joining the Indiana Federal Community Defenders in 2014, Dan brought with him a wealth of experiences in computer sciences including extensive knowledge of computer forensics. Dan also brings his passion for IT systems management to work with him, solving daily problems with a great deal of patience and keeping our attorneys and staff supplied with cutting edge technology to use in defense of our clients. Dan has become a community resource as well, often helping our Criminal Justice Act attorneys talk through hardware or software purchases or understand the tools necessary for complicated discovery review. Dan co-authored and implemented one of the first cell phone forensics certification programs in the United States and is a sought after national lecturer and consultant on many IT related topics.

Outside of the office, Dan has a passion for helping under-privileged youth.  He has used his technical expertise to build applications to help non-profit organizations serving children to better manage their resources.  Dan’s love for the game of baseball has also brought him to volunteer his time and skills to many organizations who strive to use the game as a tool to provide academic opportunity to inner-city youth and even under-privileged nations.
