The Federal Defender system has two types of offices, Federal Public Defender offices and Community Defender offices. Federal Public Defender offices are federal entities, their staff are all federal employees. Community Defender offices are non-profit defense counsel organizations who receive federal grants to provide defense services. Community Defender offices operate under the supervision of a Board of Directors.
We are proud to provide defense services as an independent Community Defender organization and are helped by a talented and dynamic Board of Directors.
