Following a distinguished career with the United States Air Force, Judge Advocate General Corps, Gwendolyn joined the Indiana Federal Community Defender’s in 2012. During her time with the Air Force, Gwendolyn was rated the #1 trial defense attorney worldwide by her superiors and was ranked among the top 2 litigators in the Air Force Judiciary. Gwendolyn focused her practice on defending high profile and complex cases, defending over 100 federal trials with a special expertise in the area of sex crimes. Notably, during her time with the Air Force, Gwendolyn defended a young man found not guilty on a death penalty case. The office of the Indiana Federal Community Defenders is proud to welcome Gwendolyn to the team and to Indianapolis.
