Federal Colleague Missing and Feared Dead

Sandra Coke, a colleague from the Federal Defender's office in Sacramento is feared dead after a body was discovered during the search to bring Sandra home.

Sandra, a capital case investigator, was last seen in Oakland on Sunday, August 4th. Sandra left home that evening after telling her 15 year old daughter that she was going to meet someone who had found her beloved missing King Charles spaniel named Ginny. When her mother did not return home that night, her daughter contacted the authorites.

A registered sex offender, Andy Alana, was taken into custody and questioned regarding Coke's disappearance after it was discovered that he was with her on the day of her disappearance.

Sandra's family is devastated as are her colleagues. Our thoughts are with them and our hearts are heavy as the process continues to identify the body found during the search. For updates from Sandra's family, click here.
